(ER-go-loyd MESS-ill-ates) 

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Gerimal 

USES:  This medication is used to raise blood flow to the brain and treat changes in mood, memory or behavior. 

HOW TO USE:  Take this medication eaxctly as prescribed.   Sublingual tablets are to be placed under the tongue to be dissolved. <br/>Do not swallow them and do not eat, drink or smoke while they are dissolving.   It may take several weeks before you see any improvement from the medication. <br/>Do not stop taking this medication wihtout your doctor's approval. <br/><br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  Notify your docotr if you develop: skin rashes, blurred vision, dizziness, fainting, flushing, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, stuffy or runny nose. <br/>If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.   

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: blood pressure problems, heart problems, behavioral problems, liver disease, any allergies.  This meidcation should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.  Dsicuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. <br/>It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk.  Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. 

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: nitrates (e.G., isosorbide, nitroglycerin), dopamine, macrolide antibiotics (e.G., erythromycin), efavirenz, saquinavir, triptan drugs (e.G., naratriptan, sumatriptan). <br/>Do not start or stop any meidcine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local pioson control center or emergency room immediately.  

NOTES:  Do not shrae this medication with others. <br/>

MISSED DOSE:  If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schdeule.  Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.  Cehck with your doctor if 2 or more doses have been missed.  

STORAGE:  Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.  Keep oral solution from freezing.  <br/>
